Project Description
The UK social care sector is facing a significant challenge: it must fill 490,000 adult social care jobs within the next 13 years. This shortage threatens the quality and accessibility of care for vulnerable adults. Local councils are struggling with high recruitment costs, inefficiencies, and fragmented efforts, which hinder their ability to attract and retain qualified social care professionals. There is an urgent need for a coordinated, cost-effective, and data-driven approach to bolster the social care workforce and ensure sustainable care services for the future.
